Came here per a friend's recommendation. Google directed us to lululemon but the restaurant is actually on the back of the building by the creek. Good thing they have a small sign there. Also, We ran into someone who worked for the restaurant, Freddie who saw the lost look on our faces and walked us around to the entrance. Decided to end our day early to have a late lunch here around 2 pm. The restaurant was fairly empty and we were seated immediately. Got the prime beef carpaccio for an app. My friend got the fried chicken sandwich and I got the gyro. The carpaccio was delicious! I loved the flavors and bone marrow. The chicken sandwich had a healthy serving of chicken and the sauce was delicious but it was messy. The gyro had a tiny portion of meat compared to the bread and you could barely taste the meat bc it had lots of sauce and veggies and only small portion of meat. Would not order the gyro again unless they doubled the meat. Prices are high and you have to pay extra $4 plus for fries, salad or onion rings.

Stopped in for a late lunch. We had a variety of items including the crab sandwich which was very good, the burger which was very high quality meat and cooked perfectly and the rotisserie chicken salad that was given a big thumbs up. Enjoyed the tea with mango. Service was very good.

For starters, we asked almost every local where we should eat and almost everyone said mountain standard. We're so happy we took their advice. We came on a Saturday night and sat at the bar. We ordered a bottle of wine and the pimiento cheese to start. I wouldn't have minded eating the pimiento cheese everyday for the rest of my life, but then we got the tuna tataki and steak tips. The tuna was absolutely phenomenal. The steak was good, and came with a yummy potato side, but the tuna stole the show for me. The bartenders were really great and good company as well. The whole atmosphere of the restaurant made for a great dinner and start to the night

Wow, I was super impressed with this charming restaurant! Get there a few minutes early and take a photo under the twinkle lights on their swinging bench too.. very cute. Food: 5-stars. Incredible. you MUST order the pork shank.. I know its not a totally normal menu item but it was to die for. Other favorites were the wedge, tuna crudo, santa maria tri-tip, and the biscuits.. just drooling thinking about it. Service: 5-stars. Very attentive and helpful while ordering. I'll flag, if you sit near the kitchen, just expect them to start cheering every ~20-30 minutes (not sure why they were doing this but it made the energy really fun in there!). Vibe: Exactly what we wanted on our moms trip... fun, high energy, and a great pre-game spot for the night. HOT TIP: Reservations... you have to try and make a reservation exactly 30-days in advance.. I know this sounds nuts but I happened to be awake at 12:15am and snagged our res for 30-days out, and when I woke up at 7am MT, there was nothing left for that evening between 5:30-8pm on a Saturday.. crazy I know. Just be prepared to wake up very early and you may get lucky!!

My husband looked at the menu online of this fancy vail restaurant and thought the menu just looked too pretentious - "Santa Maria tri-tip", "Loch Duart salmon" and more, basically too much fancy sounding stuff that regular people would need to google to see what it actually is. That may have lowered our expectations a bit, but we decided to go anyway! Well, everything we ordered turned out to be fantastic and living up to its fancy descriptions. The ambiance was very nice and very upbeat. The staff was super friendly, with just the right amount of attention given to us. We loved the Crispy Whole Rainbow Trout Bo Ssam. The trout was fried and very tasty, with the accompaniments all great as well. It was also served with a piece of maple fried cornbread that was to die for in itself. We also very much enjoyed the Corned Pork Shank and Open Blue Cobia. For starters we had Rotisserie Chicken Salad which was another 5 star dish, and the Bacon Wrapped Scallops. The wine and liquor selections seemed just right. Then the prices were not exorbitant at all and in the end we felt could have been a lot more for this quality of restaurant in the heart of Vail Village. We would recommend this to all and will definitely come here again if we return to Vail. Also, I had a sip of old fashioned here and it was the best!!! I have tried a sip of so many old fashioned whenever anyone at my table ordered it but never liked it but this was the only old fashioned I have ever liked and would have ordered if I had not had a glass of Cab already!! Next time!!!

One of the best spots we found in Vail! Sister restaurant to sweet basil and located right below, the dishes all had a twist to them with great mix of ingredients. The carpaccio coming with bone marrow was a stand out! I loved this combo. The Brussels sprouts on the salmon dish were also a star on the plate. We also ordered the pimento cheese which was a table favorite appetizer! With clear view into the kitchen it was so fun when the kitchen staff would cheer each time a round was bought for them. Mountain standard is elevated but fun and we all really enjoyed it!

Excellent meal and experience in Vail! Our condo provided transport from Lionshead to Vail Village but the bus would have been just as easy to get here. They were able to get us in without a reservation but highly recommend booking several weeks out for best time and seating options. The carpaccio was excellent as was the bone marrow that came with it. The lamb kafta was the table favorite for appetizer. The wine selection was great. Our entrees were all very good and well portions. Highly recommend the pork shank. The staff were attentive and the table stayed cleared throughout our meal. It was a little loud at times but was still a very cozy space.

This was a really cute spot for lunch! The restaurant is like half outside and is right in front of the creek so we had a nice view while eating. The interior itself is pretty nice and feels cozy; it definitely matches the upmarket New-American gastropub description. We shared the bone marrow beef carpaccio and thought it was delicious! The bone marrow slathered on the toast and topped with the carpaccio was a perfect bite. The beef carpaccio was also one of the better beef carpaccios I've had. For my main I got the shrimp tamales. They weren't really tamales; they were shrimp on top of masa which was interesting, I had expected shrimp filling inside of a tamale. I thought they were still pretty good though. I also had a cucumber and mint Yerba mate drink with my meal which was really yummy for those that love Yerba mate. I haven't seen Yerba mate offered at a restaurant before so it was a pleasant surprise. Service was nice, friendly, and attentive. I definitely would like to come back for dinner and try what they have for dinner!

Wow this restaurant was incredible! Food, service, ambience, music - all phenomenal!! We began with a couple of cocktails and tried a few of their appetizers! Absolutely loved the chilled corn and crab soup! It was delicious! The poke was also delicious as was the warmed pimento cheese! The scallops were cooked perfectly and delicious but a tad too salty - but still really good ! Then we had the whole trout served family style! It was such a cool dish with crispy trout which you place on little lettuce cups with dressings - and served with the best cornbread' I have ever had and rice and beans ! Such a fantastic meal ! Loved this restaurant
